Anna Mae Etherton

Anna Mae Etherton passed away on Jan. 6, 2013.

Anna was born on April 29, 1924, in Stark, N.Y., to Bertha Belle Dingman and Henry H. Dingman. She attended Johnstown schools. She later married Alexander Etherton Sr. on Aug. 8, 1942. She worked for several local companies as a seamstress. She retired in 1986 from St. Thomas.

Anna’s husband is predeceased. She has six surviving children: two sons, Nicholas Etherton (Ruth), Alexander Etherton Jr.; four daughters, Penny Rowback (James), Kathy Rowback (Edward), Denise Pollak (Joseph) and Susan Etherton. She has seventeen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

Anna donated her body to Albany Medical College for medical science. A service is to be held at a later date. All donations may be sent to Mountain Valley Hospice.
